A Touch of Waddles: Enter the Blogosphere- The Reckoning 2012: A Timeless Tragedy

So, in an effort to decrease the amount of time I spend in any given day being unproductive, I've decided to throw my hat into the blogworld. This should come as a mixed surprise to the people who know me. On the one hand, someone as opinionated and long-winded as myself should have had a blog to begin with. On the other hand, why the hell didn't I start it half a decade ago when blogging was really picking up steam?

The answer, of course, is my procrastination, but we're not here to talk about that. I should really be giving a brief introduction to the blog, "A Touch of Waddles."

This is a blog about philosophy, politics, psychology, and the interaction between any other topic with the previous three.

To this end, you will see a confusing mix of posts ranging from how the progression of technology interacts with our lives to make them better (or worse) to posts about the ethics of video games, violent TV, offensive humor (it has to be way over the line to be "offensive"), and pandering politicians.

I've entered the blognet for a few reasons:
1. I'm sure people on Facebook are getting sick of a million links I post about politics.
2. Facebook itself encourages little messages with little thought or meaning (a la Twitter).
3. I'd like to get some of my writing out there in the cloud so that prospective employers can spy on me.

It's an effective way for me to get my full opinion on paper without bothering anyone who doesn't want to hear it.

SO~ with that in mind, let's say I set up a schedule. How about I update MWF? Sound good?

Neat.
